August 2017 - May 2018
Corporate planting day at Awarua-Waituna Wetland
Various opportunities arise throughout the year to assist with planting, weed control, predator control and wildlife surveys. These tasks can be undertaken by small or large groups and make for great team-building days.
The aim of these days is to give the participants a unique fun experience by doing something worthwhile for the environment. This is an opportunity for teams to learn and work closely together in an internationally significant wetland. By helping the environment, businesses are reducing their carbon footprint while also giving their staff a sense of community involvement.
DOC staff will support and oversee the completion of the tasks, but any facilitation for developing your team will be up to you to provide.
